Pink Slate is comprised of Braden Gary & Dylan Byrne who frequently collaborate on video projects. Dylan and Braden have been friends since high school.
They created short films together two of which went on to become state finalists in the annual UIL Film competition. Since then they have gone on to film bands, promotional videos, and create logos for various organizations. They continue in there free time to create short films which can be found on their youtube channel.
Back in December of 2020, Braden and I asked our friend what he thought about the name Rhubarb Rum Productions...
So now we have a new name, Pink Slate Media!
This isn't an LLC, this isn't a company, it's literally just a name. Braden and I just collaborate a lot and we wanted a name for that.
The change will officially happen tomorrow with the release of 'Whack'd Out'. For now, here's our brand spanking new Narrative Lighting & Cinematography Reel.

We shot this in April for an RTF 318 class project. It was shot back-to-back with ‘Cicadas’ but the public release was delayed because of my procrastination. After digging up the old footage and changing a few things, it’s out!
