Saidi is a young man from Burundi, Africa who lives in Austin, Texas. He's only been in the U.S. for 6 months and he trying his best to start a new life for himself. He currently works part time for a cleaning company but his real skill set is playing and teaching tennis. He grew up playing tennis and was on the professional circuit in Africa. I'm hopeful that Saidi will be able to find a full time job teaching at one of the local clubs in the coming months but in the meantime he's joining my roster at Austin Tennis Drills as an independent instructor and hitting partner. The major stumbling block right now for him is transportation. In order to be able to provide lessons for people in the city he needs a car. I told Saidi I'd like to help him find an affordable car and there are certainly good used car options out there for $3000-$5000. Unfortunately I do not have the full amount myself to help Saidi get a car but I'm hopeful that my friends, church and tennis will generously help out. Saidi is a perfect example of the American dream. He is a hard worker and wants to succeed but just needs a little help! I encourage you to consider donating to the campaign to help start Saidi on the road to success! 100% of the funds raised will go to Saidi for the purpose of buying a used car and getting the car on the road. We're looking into doing some tennis trips next year!

Right now I'm researching a trip to Indian Wells for the weekend of March 10th-13th and I am trying to find tennis fans who would be interested in going. I have yet to determine the cost but it's looking like it would be about $1500-$2000 for round trip flight, hotel, transportation and tickets to the tournament (less if you share a hotel room). If you're interested please let me know and message me your contact info. Thanks!

ps. Also looking into the Houston Clay court tourney finals weekend in April. This one would be about $800-$1000 for tickets, hotel and round trip transportation. If interested in this one let me know!
