Meet Samantha Smith, Project Coordinator at Shoberg Homes!

Originally from Greenville, SC, Samantha moved to Texas in 2021 after graduating from the University of Alabama. Her passion for home design started early, spending time walking through neighborhoods with her mom, admiring beautiful homes and envisioning their potential.

Before joining Shoberg Homes in 2023, Samantha gained valuable experience in commercial real estate and custom home building in Austin and Lakeway. Now, as a Project Coordinator, she plays a key role in assisting with two of our projects—one in Rollingwood and one in Barton Hills. She also serves as a vital liaison between clients, architects, and designers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Her organizational skills and attention to detail help keep projects running smoothly while bringing the design vision to life.

Samantha loves seeing designs transform from ideas into reality, both at work and in her own life. When she’s not managing projects, she’s renovating her own home, gardening, spending time outdoors, and enjoying life with her two dogs, Chandler and Lloyd. She’s an invaluable part of the Shoberg Homes team, and we’re proud to have her with us!

Wrapping up on of our Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club projects. There's nothing more rewarding than working alongside a team of such immense expertise, experience, and talent.

Meet Crystal Garza, our Director of Project Coordination at Shoberg Homes! Originally from Lakeway, Texas, Crystal graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Architecture. She had over 15 years of experience at high-end residential architecture firms in Austin before transitioning to a Pre-Construction Manager role for a local home builder in 2019. Crystal joined us in 2023 and now leads our team of Project Coordinators and Estimators.

At Shoberg Homes, Crystal manages the preconstruction planning and ensures our projects run smoothly from start to finish to bring our clients’ dreams to life. In addition, she is currently overseeing a 170-acre ranch project in Driftwood. Outside of work, she enjoys arts and travel with her husband, Gilbert, and daughter, Carmela. We’re proud to have her on the team!
