Don’t show up empty handed to Easter brunch, bring the good stuff that people want to eat (not a questionably wet mayo-based salad).

Grazing boxes in two sizes, floral arrangements and a few more items will be added to the menu for pick up in Georgetown on Saturday the 4th.

Met so many nice folks, ate way too much cheese (per usual), and was able to do it with my parents in town for my mom’s birthday- I mean, is there a better way to celebrate a birthday than with cheese?! (The answer is NO).

Grateful for the opportunity to share my love & curd nerdery.

A million years ago we were featured in The Horse, which I guess is like the modern equivalent to going viral 🤷🏻‍♀️

She’s had a few upgrades since way back then, plus some new friends being built including a 41 WR that was featured on American Pickers ✨

Is The Horse Back Street Choppers in existence anymore?! I miss print. Digital is great, but there’s nothing like physical media.

It’s American Cheese Month and I’d be remiss to not mention one of my favorites, multi-award-winning, soft-ripened goat cheese Humboldt Fog.

Depending on the stage of ripeness she can be thick and paste-like, similar to a standard goat cheese we all know and love OR have an ooey-gooey, melty creamline.

I think people get too precious with cheese pairings and are afraid to make a “mistake”, there’s no wrong answer here, just what tastes good and what doesn’t.

But, if you need hints try it on a slice of Granny Smith apple with a drizzle of honey, a walnut, and maybe a sprinkle of bee pollen and smoked salt.

I’ll be posting more cheeses & makers all month!
