I am on the Board of Directors for Honduras Good Works. We are a non-profit that serves the poorest of the poor in Honduras. We provide medical, spiritual and educational programs. Each July, we take a team of about 85 doctors, nurses, pharmacists, interpreters and other volunteers. We fly into Tegucigalpa, Honduras, meeting our native interpreters, drive to the Catholic retreat center where we stay, unpack and get ready for our clinics the next day. We see about 5000 patients over 5 days of clinics.
