Leaving TikTok

The screenshot in the comments was shared in one of my author groups this morning. This along with a couple of other factors solidified my decision to leave the app.

I never really posted anything that hit on that crazy algorithm and never really liked posting there anyway so once I find important accounts I've been following elsewhere I'll be deleting my account on there (and the Lemon8 account will also go down though I've not posted there like ever).

If I decide to keep posting videos, they'll be on my YouTube account and MAYBE my Bluesky account, but that's a big maybe. Otherwise I can just concentrate on making graphics to share here and newsletter content once that's up and running.

I'm so excited! This morning not only did I write a little over 2k, but I also finished another chapter. Now I only have 3 chapters left to write in my WIP and I'll be DONE!

Just in case you didn't hear this, now you've heard the news (the screenshot below). I hate gen AI because it's crippling real artists' livelihoods but this isn't a post where I rant about this.

This post is to let all of my readers know that I'll be pulling my 2 books (both ebook and paperback options) off of Amazon and no new releases will be on there. Because I'm not about to leave my books up on a retailer that's not letting us opt out of AI usage and probably use that to train it to write in our voices.

Since the feature is already live on apps, I'll be pulling my books TOMORROW 12/16/25

Where to find my books:

- LIBRARIES. This is a big reason why I launched and will remain a wide author. So if money is tight, request my book (paperback and ebook formats are both open to the library).

- On my website shop: this is going to be up & running in the next 2 weeks. Currently, only ebooks will be available to purchase in my shop, but I'm working to get other formats available soon.

Hey everyone! It's been a while. Quick update: I've left 🍋8, will be leaving TikTok this week, and I'm on 💙sky. They're currently working on an IG & TT replacement. The app right now has beta testing for video sharing & reposting too. I'm debating whether or not I'll get on those too but I'm staying on 💙sky regardless. My content on there will be short posts of randomness. Outside of my newsletter, that will be where I interact the most.

Once a FB replacement is made & the book/Romance community moves to a new one, I'll join that then I'll delete all of my FB stuff. For now I'm staying to give my readers time to follow me elsewhere, so it'll be very ☠️ in both of my groups, my profile, & my page.
