Ice ice babyyy ❄️

One of my fave heads of hair to do… my sister! Just like me, she has fine hair but *excuse my french* a S**T TON! Although her hair does take me a while and I’m usually dead inside afterwards, it’s always worth it after seeing the end result! 🤩
I did a full foil while also hand painting some of her ends for optimum brightness! We also trimmed her up and gave her lots of bouncy layers and some bangs with benefits 😆

She definitely is , and she’s able to keep going blonder because she uses all the products I recommend and takes excellent care of her hair! This is CRUCIAL!! I am not bullsh*tting you when I tell you what your hair needs, I promise 😘 I can not guarantee longevity of color or excellent integrity of the hair if you are not doing the proper home care, this is more important than you think!

What is the best way to book with me?

Sometimes it can be very confusing to book with a new stylist. Which service do you choose? How long will the service take? What’s the price range?
Trust me, I’ve been there. I like to be as transparent and realistic as possible with all my guests, especially new clients. In order for me to give you the most accurate information you may need, I need to know a few things myself:
• do you have professional color on your hair?
•Have you done any sort of home coloring? (Box dye, temporary color, sun-in,etc)
• is there a budget you are wanting to maintain?
• a photo of your hair currently and 2-3 inspiration photos

All of this information can give me a more accurate price range to give you as well as what I believe is possible or not!
I recommend for all new clients to follow this protocol and send me a DM Message with all of this information. I get a lot of messages, so the more straight to the point you are, the easier it is for me to give you what you need and get you booked! 😊 I’m also happy to answer any questions/concerns you may have!

Shadow root vs. a root tap

A root tap is really great for anyone that is super blonde and wants to still feel very blonde up to the root. It just blurs the highlight line slightly so it blends more seamlessly and grows out a little less harsh.

A root shadow is brought down a little further and is really great for added depth and a more lived-in/naturally blended look! This creates more of a shadow in the hair and allows for a much better grow out!

This client is in between a root tap and a root shadow- a little more than just a tap but a little less than a full on shadow. I recommend this the most to any blondes that want to go longer in between appointments! As you can see, it softens the top of the highlights and creates an effortless look!

Would you believe that this client does not even get a toner?
Yeah… pretty crazy!
This client is so naturally light that her hair lifts to a perfect white and all she needs is a quick wash with a purple shampoo and she looks like Elsa!
Oh how nice it must be to be so blessed by the blonde hair gods!
Not to mention… her hair is so perfectly straight that this blunt cut looks like so much work when there’s really no effort at all!

Grey Blending! 🫧👏🏻

This client has been blonde with some gorgeous salt and pepper coming in! She wanted to embrace the grey she has and stray away from the blonde. Luckily, she already had a lot of lightness, making the process easier and less damaging than someone with dark hair wanting to embrace their grey!

I love how this turned out and blended so seamlessly to her grey root! Now all she has to do is a gloss every 6-8 weeks to maintain the silver tone!

What’s a babylight? This is a great example. Notice how at the top the pieces of blonde are super fine and some of her natural is able to peak through? That’s a babylight. This is a good service for something slightly more low maintenance and a little softer than an original highlight!

Her ends being already fully lightened helps bring more brightness to this look as well!☀️🫧

Curious about this color? It’s a rose gold flash toner, goes on within 5-10 mins and color is retained by how often you wash and which products you use. Professional products will ALWAYS keep color retention better. For this look, I’d recommend our DAVINES Minu color care line.

What type of maintenance is required for blondes?

Maintenance is going to be determined by your lifestyle, overall hair goal, natural hair level and how quickly/slowly your hair grows.

For heavy blonding with little dimension, I recommend no more than 4-6 weeks.

For babylights, softer highlights but still a high impact blonde: 6-8 weeks

For a lived in blonde or dimensional blonde: 8-10 weeks

For balayage, a very soft blonde or lived in blonde: 10-12 weeks

It’s important to maintain your blonde and be consistent with your appointments in order to uphold the quality and color of your hair!

This is what I consider a “lived in blonde”. What does that mean?
Well, my explanation of a lived in color service is keeping the lightness soft and allowing a lot of the natural color to peek through!
This look is great for anyone looking for very low maintenance or a very soft, natural look!
