Two weeks ago I mixed a really aggressive nutrient mix and now I am dealing with the consequences. This is called High EC Burn. Here’s what’s up:

🚨 If your plants are showing yellowing, curling, or dying leaves, your EC might be too high! But why does this happen? 🤔

⚡ Osmotic Stress – Too many nutrients = harder for roots to absorb water. Leaves dry out & wilt.
⚡ Ion Toxicity – Excess salts can damage young leaves first, causing yellowing & burn.
⚡ Root Damage – High EC can stress roots, slowing growth & killing smaller leaves first!

🔥 Fix It Fast:
✅ Lower EC slightly—dilute with fresh water.
✅ Check pH (5.8–6.2 is ideal).
✅ Watch new growth—smaller leaves are most sensitive!

Prevention is key! Keep EC increases gradual and monitor your plants closely. 🌱✨

We’re getting somewhere. Time to add more nutrient water to the hydroponic for its middle journey and we should start seeing some bigger plants soon.
