A gentle reminder to learn to sit with your feelings, in your safe space, and get curious. Where does this feeling sit in my body? Are there more feelings? Which ones can I feel and is there resistance ? Have I felt like this before? A place, a time, with another perosn or people? Get curious and then allow yourself and give permission to feel. Your tissue systems will thank you.

If you feel you need help please schedule your session at

Another book highly recommend! It is loaded with cute humor and kind of puts it into an IFS formats of parts. Brilliant! ❤️ Kind of took me through childhood and started seeing the adult versions of these characters too like isolating or making myself louder. Coping mechanisms like disassociation aka being a possum (the frozen one) were not my thing except in extreme cases and it worked to keep me safe. Getting to know your internal landscape and your story, not the version told to you are part of the healing journey. Be well. ❤️

Brain Basics: Understanding Sleep 05/20/2024

Craniosacral therapy can help you with homeostasis, mainting a stable physiological process to your tissue systems. Sleep is one of those things that also helps to repair tissues and functions in your nervous system.

Sleep is important to a number of brain functions, including how nerve cells (neurons) communicate with each other. In fact, your brain and body stay remarkably active while you sleep. Recent findings suggest that sleep plays a housekeeping role that removes toxins in your brain that build up while you are awake.

Everyone needs sleep, but its biological purpose remains a mystery. Sleep affects almost every type of tissue and system in the body – from the brain, heart, and lungs to metabolism, immune function, mood, and disease resistance. Research shows that a chronic lack of sleep, or getting poor quality sleep, increases the risk of disorders including high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, depression, and obesity.

20% off all Craniosacral sessions until May 1st!

Craniosacral therapy is a complete body work modality used to address the symptoms your body is presenting both physically and emotionally. Physiologically we have changes over time that have occurred from various life experiences, accidents, grief, losses, trauma, stress etc... and our body holds these patterns trying to heal itself, but this causes strain on other adjoining tissues systems and our bodies show "symptoms" both physically and emotionally. Pain can be physical or emotional, or both as well as anxiety, stress, discomfort and more. Over time our body keeps the score and needs support to release and get into a better working position to heal.

I am offering a new special for both established clients and NEW clients that ends May 1st. So, get on the books and take advantage of this promotion here:

Regular clients already on the books will have this discount at check out so no need to reschedule. Looking forward to working with you all again! And if you would like to share this promotion on social media you can go to my social media accounts and share from there.

April is CranioSacral Therapy Awareness Month!

As the first Thursday of the month, we might as well throw it back to when it all began!

From His Hands to Ours...🤲
CranioSacral Therapy was pioneered and developed by osteopathic physician John E. Upledger. Dr. Upledger served from 1975-1983 as a clinical researcher and Professor of Biomechanics at the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University. It was during those years that his team of anatomists, physiologists, biophysicists, and bioengineers was tasked with performing experiments to test the existence and influence of the craniosacral system.

The results of those scientific studies explained the function of the craniosacral system, and its use in evaluating and treating poorly understood malfunctions of the brain and spinal cord. Dr. Upledger went on to develop CranioSacral Therapy and other complementary modalities that are now taught worldwide to healthcare professionals through Upledger Institute International’s educational programs.

For manual therapists and other healthcare practitioners worldwide, his legacy is his generosity of spirit in sharing his discoveries and knowledge and ensuring their right to practice, For his patients and the patients of his students, his legacy is an open mind and heart to the validity of non-traditional medical approaches. For his family and good friends everywhere, his legacy is to stay with your journey despite the obstacles. He has proudly passed the torch From His Hands to Ours.

Great overview about Upledger CranioSacral Therapy!!!

Notes on healing:

Don't spread yourself thin by overwatering something, it's better to do it frequently & give it time. Doing it rapidly will not speed up the process. Great things take time. Water your other seeds as well and give them all the same amount of attention. One may grow faster than others.

Easter can be a particularly stressful time for some with religious trauma, imposed ideology and belief systems from others and those get togethers with family.

Hoping that you can find some peeps aka friend support to help you get grounded and I’ll be back Tuesday, if you need a session and have availability.

In a world full of opposing views and to add to this post JEFF BROWN wrote:

Regarding dysregulation, polarity, black and white or right and wrong there is a liminal space. If you pause long enough you may find it. Dysregulated nervous systems, clashing, fighting, survival mode, confusion and chaos stops when you are quiet, without thinking, but with feeling and give yourself permission to shed all those things you are surviving. Maybe, then we meet this balanced rhythm of life we once knew well again.

This rhythm of LIVING and wanting to THRIVE is called your Craniosacral system and it protects your nervous system. These 3 membranes are responsible for cushioning every blow whether it be physical or emotional and protects your brain and spinal cord. Without this we would die.

Keeping yourself regulated emotionally and physically with Craniosacral therapy has benefits:

*Facilitates releases, reordering and remembering your “rest and reset mode” (parasympathetic nervous system becomes dominate in scientific terms) by helping your emotional state REST and allows for better functioning of your tissue systems.

What better way to take the reins back to your individual well being so that you, as the adult you are, can make the best possible decisions to live in wellness instead of chaos?

This is my solution for this world. Keeping myself in check, putting my oxygen mask on before helping others and knowing when my nervous system is stressed and staying out of overwhelm. I also get regular sessions because we all dysregulate and regulate that is the rhythm and function of our nervous system. It’s when we are locked into a survival mode state of dysregulation which can cause other unwanted symptoms. Let’s avoid those shall we?

You can schedule your Craniosacral session at

Our vagus nerves help us rest, digest and restore. Can you really reset them to feel better? 03/24/2024

The Vagus nerve is the longest nerve in your body and helps you to rest, digest and reset your nervous system.

With Craniosacral therapy we can facilitate connections and releases between the brain, your gut and other tissue systems so that your body can focus on healing and respond better to other parasympathetic and sympathetic responses that are vital to your well being. Lovely read and enjoy!

If you are interested in Craniosacral therapy you can schedule your session here:

Our vagus nerves help us rest, digest and restore. Can you really reset them to feel better? The sympathetic nervous system produces our fight-or-flight response to any perceived threat. The vagus nerves are part of the parasympathetic nervous system, which does the opposite.

Setting up my Bach Flower Essence cards for my next client. Each card is tied to an essence and each essence has a physical and an emotional significance. It is fascinating getting the details of emotional and physical symptoms from the client and witnessing what they choose by intuition, sight and touch. Yet another somatic phenomenological experience.

As a Bachelor Flower practioner I offer these readings and make the remedy to fit your needs and your current symptoms. You can get more info and schedule here:

As adults we don’t NEED our parents anymore to take care of us in any way. As adults we can give ourselves permission to SEE WHAT IS and it well may be that we did NOT receive the love we needed as a child.

A grief process unfolds and we notice each relationship we have now and their entanglements to the non-nurturing love that our parents gave us.

This one was a doozy for me and had to let a lot of people go so I could make room for a healthy love that nourishes me.

Do you see a pattern that loops back to the love you seeked in your existing relationships and where do you feel that in your body?

For established clients! ✨❤️✨

I help facilitate healing and change in unbalanced or undesirable physical and mental states. I use various modalities to help you get in touch with the states you want to change so that your body can do what it does best, repair and renew.

Using a wide variety of massage & craniosacral techniques, bach flower remedies and applied kinesiology, I help you to find the symbolism and patterns trapped in your body so that your mind, body and inner spark are restored. Finding these restricted tissues and supporting them to unwind in the way they need to is essential for overall well being.

As a former veterinarian technician I was exposed to many years of treating trauma in pets and learned to hold space for their humans. I walked through the process of birth to death for over 20 years and was a part of many recoveries of health restoration. It wasn’t until I moved to Spain and lived there for 19 years that I began to study the human healing components. I studied many healing modalities like Reiki, Homeopathy, Akashic records, Applied Kinesiology, Bach Flower Remedies, Jungian archetypes, the Tarot and dowsing. In 2012 I started my CranioSacral therapy journey and in 2016 began formally studying with the Upledger Institute International.

I am a proud member of The American CranioSacral Therapy Association (ACSTA), The International Association of Healthcare Practitioners (IAHP) and the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration (TDLR). I am currently a teacher’s assistant for The Upledger Institute International.
