Happy Thanksgiving to all of my fellow “illegals!”

May we remember on this day that had the original inhabitants of this land had the same attitude that Americans have today that we wouldn’t have Thanksgiving, or a country to be thankful for.

The Wolves & the Sheep

A pack of Wolves lurked near the Sheep pasture. But the Dogs kept them all at a respectful distance, and the Sheep grazed in perfect safety. But now the Wolves thought of a plan to trick the Sheep.

"Why is there always this hostility between us?" they said. "If it were not for those Dogs who are always stirring up trouble, I am sure we should get along beautifully. Send them away and you will see what good friends we shall become."

The Sheep were easily fooled. They persuaded the Dogs to go away, and that very evening the Wolves had the grandest feast of their lives.

The Texas party of “pro-life” and “limited government” insists on endangering the lives of women with its radical policies and
can’t bring itself to denounce Na**sm. It’s time to elect leaders who value the lives of women and don’t align with hate groups.

PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO READ!! Not sure how many of you are following what is happening in the Texas Legislature, but the Governor has called an unprecedented 4th special session to push school vouchers in Texas. This was defeated by a BIPARTISAN opposition during the last session, but Abbott insists on pushing this through, even if Texans don’t want this.

If this passes, we will defund our own public schools in Texas. We will divert our own taxpayer money out of our public schools to subsidize the cost of someone sending their kids to private school. For any Republican representatives who oppose this in the vote, Abbott will make sure they have primary opponents because they did not support his defunding of our public schools.

Call your state representatives and demand that they oppose school vouchers and support public education in Texas!

It’s Election Day, get out and vote! Need more info on the proposed amendments? This is a good source. Vote yes on prop 9 to give retired Texas teachers a raise without raising your property taxes.

Voter turnout is amazingly low. In WilCo, only 16,269 people out of 392,247 have voted, your vote makes a difference! Thank you.

In just his first few hours of his presidency, Biden has already rejoined the Paris Climate Agreement.

With a good conscience our only sure reward, with history the final judge of our deeds, let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking His blessing and His help, but knowing that here on earth God's work must truly be our own.”

We must remember that we are both citizens of America and citizens of the world. The world’s problems-the Coronavirus, Climate change, poverty, hunger, genocide, are our problems. For four years we have put America first, but in doing so, we have only allowed these problems to compound.
