It’s challenging to watch athletes like go through such a hard time with his body

Pain is such a disempowering feeling

It forces us to SLOW down . If we don’t slow down to really understand why pain exists, the cycle repeats and often times the pain amplifies 10 x stronger

The more we are faced with the pressure to get back to sport , the more irrational and myopic we get about the solution

We can’t get to a fully athletic and peak performing Lonzo Ball, by pushing the process forward , or trying the same “standard procedure”
.
Looking at imaging is helpful to a point. X rays ✅, MRIs cool 👍🏽, but resolving the actual issue takes a completely different outlook.

We have to look deeper. We have to restructure the alignment of his feet. Just balancing on a bosu ball and congratulating how immaculate his balance is, doesn’t help him
.
Neither is ignoring obvious postural issues, structural problems , body mechanics issues , and not teaching him how to self assess what he is supposed to feel specifically from rehab all the way to athletic movement patterns
.
