Hey Folks! PSA here from your friendly neighborhood Handyman; remember to clear those dryer lint traps. Lint buildup in dryers and vent pipes can increase drying time, decrease the life of your dryer's heating element, and possibly cause fires if left unchecked. Check exhaust vents as well (for all appliances) if not properly capped and screened you could have unwanted guests building nests. New customer reported building Internet not working in their newly rented suite. My wire tester was showing a degraded pair, so I took a look in the drop ceiling to inspect the wire and decided it would be best to run a new wire drop. I'm always saddened to see Ethernet abuse. If you have abused Ethernet in your life, I'd like to help.

When was the last time you took a good look under your sink? A leaky garage disposal under this one ruined the bottom shelf and a section of the flooring; but no worries, some fans, a new garbage disposal and a little elbow grease got it all Resolved!

I see this type of water damage a lot on older homes. Previous professional caulks concrete shingles in a way that redirects water under shingle and into the eave; water pools, eventually leading to rot.
