Congratulations to Maria Valdéz Peréz. Today, she was recognized at the Georgia Department of Education in Atlanta as the RCSS Exemplary English Learner!

We will administer the Georgia Milestones Assessment System (GMAS) from April 22–29 for students in grades 3–12. Students will be tested in subjects including English Language Arts, mathematics, science, social studies, American Literature and Composition II, Algebra: Concepts and Connections, Biology, U.S. History, and Physical Science.

Families can help students do their best by making sure they get plenty of rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time each day of testing. Parents and guardians, ensure your child(ren) bring their school-issued devices to school each day.

Students will not report to school, and after-school activities and athletic events on Monday are canceled.

Due to previous school closures caused by inclement weather this spring, our scheduled PowerUp Asynchronous Learning Day on Friday, April 3, 2026, will now be an in-person learning day. All students and staff will report to their school on a normal schedule. This adjustment ensures we recover valuable instructional time and maintain continuity of learning for our students.
