Augusta’s Juvenile Court is getting national recognition—and you’ll have the opportunity to hear directly from one of the leaders behind that work.

Judge Tiana Bias recently shared that our Juvenile Court has been selected as one of only TEN courts nationwide as an NCJFCJ Implementation Site, advancing how courts serve children and families right here at home.

On Tuesday, April 14, she’ll be part of our discussion on:

Prosecutors • Judges • Public Defenders: Roles in Criminal Justice and Accountability to the Public

Members of Changemakers Academy spent the day at the State Capitol observing legislative sessions from the gallery, meeting lawmakers, and seeing firsthand how bills move, how debates unfold, and how representation happens in real time. It was a powerful look at the process that shapes everyday life across Georgia.

Members of our Changemakers Academy visited the Georgia State Capitol today for a day of civic learning and watching our government in action.
