This sweet little spot needed a chair. When I scored those spider back chairs before New Year's on fb marketplace there was no doubt one of them would land right in this spot! What do you think?

We rang in the New Year with great friends! Happy New Year!!

The dining room is ready for Christmas! Now if I can find that new tree skirt!!

It isn't possible to be more proud of these than I am. These were shipped off last May and they came home this afternoon. When the plan comes together for their location I'll be sure to share!!

As promised.... finally, here are the curtains I mentioned the other day. This is in our bonus room that never gets any direct sunlight making it difficult to get good photos! I can't say enough about these curtains! I included a pic of what I ordered since I can't do a link yet!! There are lots of color options!!

For ages I've wanted a new rug for the foyer. The one I had was a thrift store buy about 10 years ago and was worn, it needed to go! When I was at last week I spotted this rug again. Every time I pop in there I would see this rug and think I wonder if it would work in my foyer. It works beautifully I think! It is an older rug and has faded which made it perfect for this space. It is also from Iran and rugs from there have been hard to get for many years!!

After a few years of indecision it was time! The valance/cornice was a marketplace find several years ago and I always wanted to have the bed skirt and shams to go with that. I found on Etsy and placed the order!! They did a beautiful job and I couldn't be more pleased!! Soon I'll order the shams...one thing at a time!!

Many of you noticed the new addition to the dining room and let me know in chats yesterday. Recently, a friend and I went on a small, short thrifting trip and this beauty was waiting just for me! A new lampshade is in her future. Originally, I planned to put her in the foyer but, when I walked in the dining room I knew this was her best fit....don't you agree?!
