Deputies and Officers from Warren and Fountain County will be doing Shop with a Cop again this year. Unfortunately due to COVID we will not be taking the kids with us to shop. We have decided to instead work off a prepared list of needs for each child, and we will shop for them, and then deliver the gifts. We are certainly disappointed that we can't make our normal trip and shop with the kids, but this is still an important event, and we still need donations to make this happen. If you are able and would like to donate, please drop off your check made out to Shop with a Cop, to any area agency, or give it to a Deputy or Officer, or call and we will come by and pick it up. We plan to go shopping next week on December 10th. I know this is short notice, but we can still accept donations after this date for future shopping as well. Each year we help 60 to 70 families with gifts for Warren and Fountain County children. Thank you!

Applicants for full-time must be at least 21 & not older than 36 years old at the time of appointment. Applicants for a reserve officer must be at least 21 years old. No maximum age limit for Reserve Officers. Testing will begin in the Fall of 2020. The testing process includes a Physical Agility Assessment, Written Exam, Background Investigation, an Interview with a board of officers, and interview with the Attica Police Merit Board.
Applicants must possess a High School Diploma/G.E.D. Applicants must also possess or be able to acquire a valid Indiana driver’s license. The Attica Police Department will be accepting applications until September 30, 2020. Fountain County Sheriff, Terry R. Holt, is inviting the Community to an open house at Fountain County Jail on Sunday, June 28 from 11-3. The new jail is located at 439 E 50 S, in Veedersburg next to Fountain County Ambulance Services, just off of US Highway 41. For safety and security reasons, please leave all bags, purses and cell phones in your vehicle. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Fountain County Sheriff's Office will NOT supply face masks, you will need to bring your own.

We have received new information on a new scam. Residents should be aware of telephone scams involving callers impersonating members of their doctor’s office. The impostor has your full name, date of birth and address, they are asking for more personal information and credit card information.
We have received multiple complaints about impostor calls from scammers who identify themselves as the IRS, your bank, Utility companies, your Dr. Office, and many other legitimate organizations. Fountain County Sheriff’s Office advises anyone who receives a call requesting money or personal information, not to provide that information over the phone. Instead, hang up. If you think that the caller may have been real organization, look up the legitimate number and then call it to verify the information you received over the phone.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office took a report this morning in reference to vandalism that has occurred near Kramer Road and Hunter Hill Road. Multiple County Highway signs were spray painted with graffiti including graffiti on the roadway near Mudlavia. There were also signs painted along Moore’s Hill Road, Williamsport Road and the Green Hill area. If anyone has any information regarding these incidents, you can private message the Sheriff’s Office or contact dispatch at 765-793-2449.
Hey Rambler Nation, it’s parade day. Please line the parade route to help us celebrate and support the Attica Senior Class of 2020. Parade starts at 4:00PM.
Due to the recent announcement from the Governor with the new guidelines, the time for the Senior parade has been moved to 4pm on May 23rd. It will be the same route that is on our previous post. Please get the word out.

The date for the Senior Class of 2020 has been changed to MAY 23rd at 1:30pm. This is due to coincide with something the school is doing. Please make note of the change.
Ok everyone. Here is the announcement for the Attica Rambler Senior class of 2020. On May 16th at 11am, we will be having a parade for you. One Senior per vehicle. Please remember to maintain social distancing. Each senior can decorate a vehicle however they want. Just please make it tasteful. The vehicle can be anything from a car, truck, tractor, or golf cart. No walking please. We will start at the high school, go down Sycamore to Perry Street. Then take Perry to Main Street. Then Main Street to Brady Street. Then we will go down Brady Street back to the high school. Line up starting at 10am in the student parking lot. Have your family & friends line the parade. If you have any questions, please contact our office or school administration. Since we live in Indiana the rain date for the parade will be May 22nd at 11am.

This will be a drive through. YOU MAY NOT exit the vehicle 🚗! Anyone not following rules will be told to leave.
“YOU MUST BRING” Bags and/ or boxes.
National Guard will be assisting loading your food into your vehicle.
You may pick up for yourself and one other family that is unable to pickup theirs. Stay safe and hope to see all of you Monday April 13th.
