What uplifting and inspiring events I’ve attended today & last week at ADAC!! At Digital days I loved hearing all the insights of Alexandra Kaehler and meeting her while at her book signing for her new book “A Welcome Home”
Next Atlanta Home and Lifestyles hosted a watercolor luncheon with Stout textiles at the Ernest Gaspard showroom and Kristen Leigh
And Victoria Larsen, both extraordinarily talented Watercolor artist & fabric & wallcovering designers! They oversaw a watercolor session where we designers got to jump into the world of watercolors with some artistic talent & laughter filled that event!
Finally I attended the WCAA Atlanta Chapter with such amazing guest speakers as LuAnn Nigara, , the host and creator of the Window Works podcast, A Well-Designed Business®, which is the number one rated podcast for the interior design business community! She is professional, passionate & hilarious all rolled into one!
Got to meet the lovely, Michele Williams, , a Design Business coach & also founder of “Profit is a Choice Podcast” and
Michele is a woman blessed with a sharp business mind and a desire to encourage others in so many ways!!
Next we heard from Erika Hollinshead Ward,
and Dana Faler Interiors|
-both exceptional designers who gave us insight on how the window treatment community & the design community can partner to make both professions stronger!
Lastly I had to pick up the latest copy of the Modern Luxury Interiors magazine as High Country Drapery Designs was recognized as “Best Soft Furnishings” in the Southeast 🙌

Hi there! Just wanted to re-introduce myself as it’s been awhile-I’m Jill Durrance-a child of the 80s, a Christ follower, a happily married wife to my best friend, a heart full of love for my kids kinda mom, a NCIDQ certified Interior Designer, AND part of an amazing team of women at High Country Drapery Design!
I love my new role as a Window Treatment Consultant partnering with luxury residential and commercial projects across the Southeast! We make beautiful window treatments & upholstery pieces that are curated for each design -Follow along to see all that we can do❣️ My business cards came in today so I just had to give myself a shout out lol🙌❣️🙌.

🥳Announcing a new chapter in my Interior Design career! I loved my time with Natuzzi Italia & learned so much about the art of fine Italian furnishings surrounded by great people (and parties-see next pic!) but I am now joining the amazing group of ladies at High Country Drapery Designs! Proud to be a part of this extremely talented woman owned company where I will utilize my design skills on custom draperies & upholstery for Atlanta, Blue Ridge & Birmingham! I look forward to making more clients homes beautiful & inspiring!!
SPOOKY DINNER!!! One of my favorite Halloween memories with my boys, friends & neighbors!! I went all out & had to make the food fun (and spooky gross for my boys!) like Witches Fingers, Mummy Hot Dogs, Monster Mouths, & my own creation Bloody Popcorn! Loved every minute of it!! Happy Halloween Yall!👻🎃👻🎃

One of the most romantic and sweetest engagements ever!! William proposed to his precious girlfriend Lana under her grandparents beautiful tree with his great-great-grandmother’s engagement ring❣️❣️❣️My heart is overflowing and I’m so excited for William & Lana!!!! Thank you Lord for this good & perfect gift❣️🙏❣️ 💗 ❤️❤️❤️

A week ago today Garrett graduated Magna cm Laude in Civil Engineering from Auburn! His hard work & dedication paid off and I couldn’t be more proud of what he has accomplished❣️We are blessed with friends & family that love & supported him through this college journey & we celebrated together with beautiful handmade Hawaiian leis (thank you Mary!!) and hilarious temporary Garrett tattoos! And thank you, Auburn University, for being so good for my boys & the memories they created there are for a lifetime -War Eagle!! ❤️ ❤️
