Multiple sclerosis is invisible. The fatigue, the pain, the courage it takes to keep going are all invisible. But YOU are not.
Today is World MS Day, and we're showing up for every warrior who knows what it means to fight a battle the world can't always see.
And just in time for this day of recognition, the Chronic Audacity Flagship Event is happening right now in Aiken, SC (1β5 PM, Millbrook Baptist Church). A space built by and for the chronic illness community.
If you're in the area, come through. If not, share this post with someone who needs to know they're not alone.
We celebrate persistent courage, despite invisible illness. π

Tomorrow, the stories get told RIGHT. ποΈ
Kenton Makin, host of Makin' a Difference, is coming to Chronic Audacity with one thing on his mind: your story. Mic in hand and fully present, he's ready to sit with the voices of this movement and let them be heard.
You won't want to miss it.
βPeople do better when they feel informed, supported, and connected.β
Dr. Courtney Callahan, Ph.D. has built her career around that belief as a health scientist and health education specialist.
And she wants the spoonie and invisible illness community to know: Chronic Audacity was created for exactly that.
May 30. Aiken, SC. Weβll see you there. π§‘

Chronic Audacity began as a question from someone living it:
What if we created space for people like us to be fully seen, fully heard, fully believed?
Two days away from the flagship event she's spent months building, Deanna carries the weight and the grace of this work. She knows what persistent courage looks like because she's living it every single day.
On May 30, come meet Deanna, the founder, and the community she's helped gather. Come meet one of us.

Some of the strongest advocates for the autoimmune and chronic illness community are people who show up because they CARE not because they have to, but because they believe in it.
Tab is one of those people. Sister to Chronic Audacity founder Deanna, founder of Love With Action, and a dedicated partner in this movement, Tab has built something alongside others:
A community rooted in real support, real listening, real change.
On May 30, Tab will be there as an advocate, community leader, entrepreneur, and BIG SISTER standing beside people living with invisible illnessesβand showing how that commitment shapes everything she does.
