A warm welcome to Chloe Jordan, the City of ATL’s new Trans Affairs Executive Fellow! ✨

She will be creating strategies to specifically advance equity and access for ATL’s tgnc community.

“Atlanta has become the only known American city to have both a Director-level position on LGBTQ Affairs, as well as a staff member solely dedicated to the advancement of the transgender community.”

Congrats on making history and creating change and opportunities🎊👏🏾

A special thank you to , & for making this happen.

Thank you & for coordinating and inviting to this years 4th Annual Mayors Pride Reception! We were happy to donate to The Mayor’s Youth Scholarship Program. It’s an honor to uplift LGBTQIA+’s youth alongside the city of Atlanta. This donation will directly alleviate expenses associated with college, to help remove the systemic financial barrier in seeking higher education.

After the March, our Executive Director, joined on American Voices to discuss the impact that overturning Roe v Wade will have on the Trans community. Removing vital healthcare access means that many Trans and GNC children will face the juvenile system and lack support into adulthood. The Okra Project has been preparing for this possibility for years by building support networks and offering resources that help us to thrive.
