Last Saturday evening the Bulldog 100 celebration was held, an event recognizing the fastest‑growing organizations owned or led by University of Georgia alumni.

We are proud to share that Vertical Earth has been ranked #32 on this year’s list. This recognition is a testament to the vision and leadership of our owner, Brett Johnson, and to the dedication of our entire team.

Thank you to the University of Georgia for highlighting the impact and achievements of alumni-led organizations. We are grateful for the acknowledgment and remain committed to continued excellence and growth.

We’re excited to share that Vertical Earth was on-site this week for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Yellow Creek Recreation Area in Ball Ground, GA, supporting Cherokee County’s vision for expanded outdoor recreation.

This initial phase focuses on developing a portion of the beautiful Yellow Creek conservation land to include new recreational amenities.

We are proud to partner with Cherokee County on a project that will expand access to trails, horseback riding, canoe/kayak access, and nature experiences for the community. 🌲🚜

Another successful Excavator Capstone with the East Forsyth High School in the books!👏

This capstone marks more than just a completed grade. It represents hands on training, real world equipment experience, and a clear pathway into the construction and earthmoving industry. Vertical Earth has had the privilege of completing this capstone before, and each year reinforces the value of investing early in skilled trades education.

This group of students also joined us earlier this year on a Vertical Earth Vision Trip, where they saw firsthand how classroom learning connects to real job sites, real careers, and real impact. Watching that experience come full circle at their capstone is exactly why we do this.

Building the future workforce starts with opportunity, mentorship, and partnership, and we’re proud to be part of that journey.

We had a great time celebrating the holiday season with our team at Vertical Earth during our 2025 Christmas Breakfast! It was an amazing morning filled with good food, great company, and plenty of excitement as many prizes were won throughout the celebration.

Most importantly, we’re proud to share that together we were able to donate over $4,000 worth of non-perishable food items and toiletries to support those in need this holiday season. This generosity truly reflects the heart of our team and the values we stand for.
