Last watercolor for the first quarter of the year... On to a new medium for the second quarter.

Closing out my initial watercolor portrait series. I have learned much during the first two months of 2026.

I have always been intimidated when drawing and painting people. I decided that it was time to change that...

Place and time, along with the feelings these concepts elicit, are often themes i explore in my work.

Another study for a watercolor portrait. Watercolor on 140 lb. Hot Press paper. Glad I did these studies. The result is not what i was aiming for but interesting all the same.
