It was a Nostalgia Packed Garage Sale Day, still can’t believe I got such rare items, looking forward to next weekend already.
Garage Sailing is always Fun for me but it is more fun when I have company, so y’all are coming with me to garage sailing from now on!
By the way, I don’t know if garage sailing is an actual term but it’s easy to say and you know ‘Sail’ as in going to places by boat but here with a car, don’t judge me!

Easily, my favorite PlayStation will always be PS2. In my mind, the PlayStation world peaked with it and while the later PlayStations were advanced but the excitement and the legacy of PS2 remain unmatched. 👌
Maybe it was the timing or my age that makes me biased but what do you all think?
Is PS2 not the golden age of PlayStation? 🤔

With Digitization, came the Death of Physical Media ❗️
While that is true, physical media like cassettes, dvds, tapes hold a special value to collector’s like myself. Why?
There is no denying digital media is convenient but there are two main factors where physical will beat digital every time.
1. Quality: Uncompressed, mechanical delivery = An Experience unmatched. Go listen to Spotify and listen to the same song on a walkman. Difference: 🌙🌄
2. Ownership: Digital media feels like a rental. Your subscription dies, so does your Ownership. On the other hand, you will forever own that DVD or Tape. Ready for use whenever.
That being said, physical will never ever be the preferred media format again because digital is just way more convenient, available and cheap. But time to time, I do find myself shutting down my apps and playing some bangers on my discman. It transports me back to a different time 😇

A lot of my buyouts come up unexpectedly and it is always exciting to be able to get on here to show you all video game lovers some retro jems. Well! The excitement got the better of me while making this video.

Sometimes enthusiasm is the best sales pitch.
Story Time:
I visited a garage sale a couple years back. It was a very organized sale with a wide variety of goods. I was browsing trying to spot my usual addictions, old toys and video games. I found a few digital cameras and a painting kit. The prices were great and I was happy. Time to check out.
The sweet lady hosting the sale strikes up a conversation and starts telling me about all the baking trays she has for sale. All vintage 80s Wilton, different shapes, clean and well taken care of. Tells about the shapes, quality and some stories behind them.
Needless to say, I, who does not bake AND does not even have a sweet tooth comes back home with all these vintage baking trays from the 80s. 😂
The lady’s enthusiasm made the sale, I paid and I have all these vintage trays older than me.
It was a unique out of norm transaction for sure. 😊

I wasn’t even looking for Barbies but these were too clean to pass up 👀 Scooped a small collector lot:
35th Anniversary (1959 repro), Rockers 1986, FAO Schwarz Shopping Spree, Bewitched, Holiday Edition
All in box!
It’s a different kind of pickup for me but the nostalgia on these is crazy especially for my wifey 🥹
Gameboy Advance SP is one of my all time favorites. Of course 2000s is 20+ years ago. YES, we are old and so are these Gameboys.
Here I have opened up one to clean, repair and give it a new life. Not only is it fully functional now but looks Amazing 😍
Of course, I could have done a lot more upgrades from brighter screens, amplifiers to enhance sound, rgb etc. but those parts are expensive.
I am happy with how it turned out. Importantly, it is now working again. 🙌
Some of the gameboys I come across are in very rough shape and it makes sense. We all loved our gameboys and played the heck out of them and then forgot about it for decades! This Gameboy for example looks like it was in a street fighter type beatdown, but no worries-
