PSA: Our truck got totaled at the top of the month. THEN someone saw the trailer (kitchen) catch on fire. Thankfully, they were able to put it out before it reached the propane tanks - which would have been DISASTROUS!

Being able to introduce my version of traditional (yet non traditional) Ethiopian plant based options to my people at the was a great experience.

As a culture, we already have lots of vegan options. However, we at have recreated the non-vegan favorites. In spite of the challenges (will share soon) seeing people enjoy (and sometimes get shocked that it’s not meat) was all worth it.

Thank you to each and every customer, family and friends that came to support, posted, helped, encouraged and check in with us during the week.

Roads in DC are completely closed. We have been trying to make it to for some time now, and we’ll open as soon as we are able to make it there.

We have FINALLY set up at the at UMD (University of Maryland) Capital One Field. Come check out as we serve delish vegan dishes. We will have our regular menu (tacos) and lots of specials throughout the week.
Hours: noon-10PM/sell out.

After we closed this past weekend, this man walked up to tell us how much he enjoyed the food. 🥹

I pulled my phone out and asked him to repeat it on tape.

We don’t do a good job “recording” bc we are focused on real experience. However, moments like this deserve to be on tape, and we will continue to do a better job at it! 💚
