❓ Did you know that this past school year CLC impacted hundreds of students and families in our community of Walton County?

Every lesson, conversation, prayer, and mentorship moment matters.

Thank you to all our donors for helping make that possible!

Just because classes pause for the summer doesn’t mean the mission stops though. ☀️

CLC continues to prepare, plan, mentor, pray, and serve behind the scenes so students return to a place where they are known, loved, and equipped to succeed.

We got to spend some time together and with some surrounding CLC’s in post planning celebrating what God has done and dreaming about the future! Our teachers at YMS shared with us how they were able to give hand bars to our middle school students about what it looks like to be a disciple of Jesus. Being with Him, becoming like Him, and doing what He did.

It was an incredible year and we can’t wait for what God has in store as we prepare for the next!

Summer is when we build for what’s next. We have a goal of securing 100 new student sponsors before next school year! Will you consider being one of them?

Special shout out to our board members Chris Conner and Sandra Conner for providing lunch for our last day of post planning! We got to enjoy time and share ideas with our friends at the Social Circle Christian Learning Center and Morgan County Christian Learning Center over delicious food from Pot Luck Cafe! We are grateful to co-labor with friends that share the vision that God has for us!

🍎 Work Wednesday

Biblical Literacy is a crucial part of the work at WCCLC. We want our students to be good stewards of God’s Word, and having the confidence they need to dig through its pages outside of our classroom.

Our High School students spend time in class learning a Bible Study method of Verse Mapping. A methodology of taking one verse and digesting on the deepest level, to arrive at clear practical application in their own lives. Pictured above you will see a Walnut Grove CLC student working her way through the process.

It’s training like this that continues to make disciples of Jesus even as they leave the classroom!

You can be apart of the disciple making process like this when you become a CLC Student Sponsor. Students will carry disciplines like this as they go into the summer months and onward.

✨Transformation!

The heart behind every CLC classroom is not simply for students to receive information, but to experience transformation in Christ! It is our hope that our students take next steps of faith whatever that may be!

Recently, 2 students from LHS CLC took their next step in a relationship with Jesus in publicly declaring their faith in baptism! They joined the many other students who made this step this semester!

We are grateful for the many churches, like , who allow us to partner with them to invest in the next generation!

To find out about how you can be a part of students taking their next steps in their faith journey, visit www.wcclc.org/donate and become a monthly sponsor!

🍎Happy Teacher Appreciation !

We are so grateful for how tirelessly our teachers work in the classroom day in and out. Their love for their students and their devotion to them knowing the truth of the Gospel is incredible. They are faithful to the work of the great commission and they are advancing God’s kingdom.

Remember to thank a teacher you know this week!

🔔Work Wednesday!

Mrs. Lorna leads her Carver Middle School students in piecing together memory verse puzzles made by her other classes to help one another memorize scripture for an upcoming memory verse quiz.

Some of the best things happen in communal learning. When students ask questions, wrestles with scripture, and learn from each other - their faith grows stronger and we grow stronger together!

This is the deep work of discipleship!

🌱You can join in on this work by committing to sponsor a student for just $35 a month.
Visit www.wcclc.org/donate to commit today!

🍎We are so grateful for our teachers!

Behind every lesson is a teacher who cares deeply about their students.

Our staff doesn’t just teach curriculum.
They mentor, pray, encourage, and invest in students daily.

We’re also grateful for the people who make this mission possible. Your support tells the next generation running after Jesus matters!

Be with Jesus.
Become Like Jesus.
Do what Jesus Did.

This is the message our Middle School Teachers @ YMS want our students to learn through “ Coffee Apprenticeship”. Through this hands on experience students are learning the process of Discipleship to Jesus.
