Lara Saville Dahl

I have been teaching at Georgia State University since 2006 and am currently Principal Lecturer of Oboe as well as Woodwind Coordinator and Graduate Director. I love to play chamber music, especially with flute and piano, and travel with hubby, 3 kids, and pathological dog who is literally obsessed with me.

Jessica Petrasek

I teach the best flute studio ever at Georgia State University and I play with lots of orchestras and chamber groups around the country. I have 8 tattoos and I’m gonna get a lot more. I love horses, so if I’m not teaching or performing, I’m usually at the barn with my young daughter and our horse Rav.

[ Meet our pianist, Miya Sun! ]
Miya Suen

I am a collaborative pianist at Georgia State University, who often works with a lot of great musicians around me. I enjoy chamber music so much, and very pleased to collaborate with two of my favorite artists Jessica and Lara together. I have two kids and one dog (a golden retriever). Besides piano, my favorite things to do are cooking and exploring different cuisines, which give my musician's life some extra flavors.

Hera Trio debuted on this Thursday at the Georgia State University Faculty Showcase, premiering a piece composed for them by Dr. Demos. This was a hard piece! But we loved every minute of it! And bravo to all of our colleagues that also performed. What a show!!!
