We don't just do residential window treatments, we offer custom commercial solutions, too.

These statement dividers, hung on suspended curved tracks at Politan Row Food Hall, combine a custom Milton & King tropical print with SnowSound acoustical fabric, creating privacy and noise reduction between the main hall and the speakeasy bar inside.

Swipe through to see how it all came together, and the design renderings of the initial concept.

If you're working on a commercial project and need a fabrication partner who can handle the details from concept to completion, save this post.

Can you tell where the wallpaper ends and the fabric begins? 💫
That's the goal. This London shade was pattern-matched so precisely to the wallpaper that the two become one seamless design. This has to be the most fun laundry room we've ever worked in.

Watch what happens when motorized shades and custom top treatments work together. It's pure magic. (And no, this is not AI. We just accelerated the video so you could see how smooth the shades go up and down.)

Every detail on these valances was intentional, from the two-tone design and accent trim to the coordinating piping and carefully aligned pattern placement across each cascade. But the real surprise? The motorized shades tucked neatly underneath, doing their job without stealing the spotlight.

This is what happens when beauty and function are designed together from the start.

The detail in this herringbone ripplefold says everything about how we approach commercial work. Every panel, every pleat...all fabricated in our workroom and installed with precision and care.

And this is just one small section. We fabricated nearly 1,400 feet of ripplefold draperies throughout No18 at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta.

Large commercial projects don't scare us. They challenge us, and that's exactly why we love them.

Remember that trim teaser from last month? Here's what it's been hiding. 💫 The finished look includes custom drapery panels on antique brass French return rods, layered over shutters, designed in collaboration with Polished Home Interiors.

Layering drapery over shutters is one of our favorite combinations. The shutters handle the practical side, and the drapery does what drapery does best, adding softness and drama while making the room feel truly finished.

You shouldn't have to live in a space that feels incomplete. If something in your home feels like it's not quite there yet, it might just be the windows. We'd love to help you figure it out.

Historic homes especially call for extra care and attention, and here, every space had its own set of considerations. This designer collaboration is the kind of project we absolutely love.

Words like these make every detail worth it. Thank you so much, Melanie, for trusting us.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Elizabeth and the team at Stitch Above the Rest did an exceptional job when we worked together on an interior design project in fall 2025 / winter 2026. We had two vintage chairs reupholstered, as well as custom drapery and curtains. Consultative approach. High-quality materials. Great care was taken to protect the plaster walls in our historic home during installation. We are very pleased and hope to work with them again in the future. Would recommend!" - Melanie C.

School's out, and High School (Georgia's oldest high school!) is graduating to a brand new building! 🎓Congratulations to Cherokee County on this exciting milestone. We were proud to play a part in bringing it to life.

Swipe to see what went into it. Our team designed, fabricated, and installed motorized draperies across two full floors — 45 feet wide along a curved wall, with 7 more feet wrapping around on each side. The install alone took nearly 10 hours.

It's the kind of project that pushes every skill we have, from engineering and fabrication to logistics and installation. And it's exactly the kind of work we love most. We're working on the extra credit...stay tuned for the full notes on this project and how it all came together on the blog. 📚

No project too large. No window too complex. Reach out and let's talk about yours.

That trim though. 😍 Classic shutters, gold hardware with custom draperies and a striking trim detail...pinch me.

This living room collaboration, designed by the talented team at Polished Home Interiors, is a perfect example of how the right window treatments truly elevate a space.

To the designers we work with and the ones we haven't met yet...we're the workroom that gets excited about the details.

The word “custom” gets used a lot in this industry. But there’s a difference between selecting from a set of options and actually engineering a solution from scratch.

This kitchen bay window is the latter, and it started with a client who simply needed the sun to stop winning. At Stitch Above the Rest, we work directly with homeowners and interior designers in Atlanta to solve problems that don’t have a standard answer.
