Long covid is such a odd beast. I woke up yesterday feeling good. I had energy. I didn’t wake up coughing up a ton of mucus. So I felt like I might try going to the gym and do very light lifting since it’s been over a month since I went. I struggled to do even a fraction of what I normally could do. Even with pacing myself and doing just 1-2 sets. I felt off and just thought maybe it’s because I hadn’t done this in a month but then I got hit by a Mac truck of fatigue, I started shaking and had to brace myself on some equipment to not collapse. I struggled to get myself home and just collapsed in bed. I slept for 9 hours but still barely have the energy to get up to make myself my daily coffee… this is honestly the worst crash I’ve had in 2 years since I learned pacing.

Eternal Sunshine is one of THE best pop albums to come out in years, in ny opinion. my brain chemistry has been ALTERED this definitely was a huge buckklist type of night

Reverse Long Covid VLOG:
I’m still in the beginning phase of the clinical trial. When you start there are 3 optional baseline tests that they ask you to do before the randomized selection process. An MRI, a Lumbar puncture (Spinal Tap) and a CPET (Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test). I couldn’t video any of the MRI part but you’re basically strapped to a table with a cage placed on your head, the cage has a mirror that reflects a TV showing video of HD environments. They slide you into a very tight enclosed tube with giant loud magnets around you. (They give you ear plugs for the loud magnet sounds). You lay there for however long the scan is. You can close your eyes or look at the screen. I chose to take a nap. They also place a bulb in your hand that you can squeeze that will terminate the scan immediately if you feel overwhelmed or need it to stop. There were some parts of the scan where some muscles on my body would tensed up in synchronization with the MRI sounds.

Radiohead is one of my favorite bands. They’ve been real consistent with releasing amazing albums since The Bends. As I’ve grown older I find myself understanding the lyrics and the meaning behind the song more and more.

The album where Kurt Cobain wanted to showcase more of a rough, raw sound of Nirvana still ended up having a few huge radio friendly unit shifters on it. In Utero is in my Top 5 albums of all time.

Beck really wrote some really catchy tunes. I don’t think many parents liked when their kids would sing this song. I know I got in trouble at school for singing the chorus. 😅
