I help clients create calm, intentional homes all year long—yet my own spring reset sometimes gets pushed aside. I recently took a moment in my own home, purging what no longer serves me and intentionally bringing in pieces I truly love. So happy to give this beauty a home, created by a talented local artist and friend!! It brings me so much joy every time I look at it! Thank you Caryn, you are such a gem.

Just wrapped a 3-story townhouse clean-out in Atlanta with my cousin, and we crushed it. Turns out organizing hits different in Georgia: the donation drop-off had a drive-through and helpers who unload your car—life-changing, truly. We rented a beast of a Pathfinder, which held an unbelievable amount of donations, and yes… we ate at the same amazing Mexican spot four nights in a row. When it’s that good, you commit (don’t judge).
With 80s music on repeat, there were lots of laughs, lots of lifting, so many stairs, and the best company for every moment. We found old photos, and shared sweet memories of our beloved Aunt and family. Beyond the house clean out there were Realtor meetings, DMV runs, post office visits, cable returns, hedge trimming—you name it! What a week. Thank you , such a fulfilling job and you made hard work fun!💕

THE CITY OF SANTA CRUZ TO HOST WHARF RE-OPENING CEREMONY ON JANUARY 4

SANTA CRUZ, CA — The City of Santa Cruz is happy to announce the re-opening of the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf on Saturday, January 4. This date marks the formal re-opening of the Wharf and many of its businesses to the public since its closure on Dec. 23, 2024, when the end of the Wharf collapsed into the ocean. Please note that the portion of the Wharf affected by the collapse will remain closed.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, the City will host a re-opening ceremony at 10 a.m. at the Wharf Stage Area. The ceremony is open to the public and will feature statements from City of Santa Cruz leadership. Staff will be available after the ceremony to answer questions from the media. The ceremony will also be live-streamed on the City’s page.

The Santa Cruz Wharf has been closed for inspection, leaving 24 businesses shut down and nearly 400 people out of work—just days before Christmas. This couldn’t have happened at a worse time, during what is normally the busiest week of winter.

If you love the wharf and Santa Cruz as much as I do, let’s come together to support our local community during this challenging time. Marini’s Westside is open daily 11:30am - 5:00pm
