My first in-person Endocrinology appointment of 2020! My last endo appointment was cancelled the day before the actual appointment. I was pretty upset and the telemedicine appointment didn’t help either. Today, I finally got to see my Endo + my CDCES ( certified Diabetes care & education specialist ) and to tell y’all the truth my appointment was… SO GOOD! Ya girl is doing great 👍🏽! I honestly wasn’t sure how it was going to go because so many times I’ve left the appointment crying, feeling frustrated or angry with myself! It’s truly been such a journey with this disease. I used despise anything that had to do with Type 1. It used to conquer over me, but now I truly think I live beyond this disease and find what works for me! Thank you all for being on this journey with me, it’s definitely been a work in progress. Big shoutout to + for my super cute Diabetes gear, I’m obsessed!
