Today, we pause as a nation to honor The Fallen — the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Memorial Day isn’t about sales, cookouts, or a long weekend. It’s about sacrifice. It’s about the names etched in stone, the flags standing in silent rows, and the families who carry an empty seat at the table forever.

This is a day of reflection — a moment to acknowledge the true cost of American freedom and the way of life we often take for granted. Every generation has had warriors who stepped forward so the next could live a little safer, a little freer, a little better than it was for them.

Many Veterans still carry memories and moments that most will never understand. But today is not about us.
Today is for those who never came home.
Those who gave everything.
Those who truly gave their all.

I may not know their names, but I am grateful for every single one of them.

To the families who lost a Husband, Wife, Father, Mother, Son, Daughter — those who still endure that pain year after year — may God bless you with comfort, strength, and support. Your loved one’s sacrifice will never be forgotten.
