The site brings together forty years of concert work, three piano lineages, two conducting traditions, a recording, a salon series, and the European Piano Academy of Atlanta.

This room. These people.
After Dvořák, after Bazzini, after the wine…we stood here and nobody wanted to leave.
That’s the whole point.
Thank you to every single person who came, and to our extraordinary guests Miroslav Ambroš and Zuzana Ambrošova Until next time. 🙏

Dvořák’s Sonatine in my living room.
Some music you hear in concert halls. Some music finds you differently — up close, breathing the same air as the musicians, feeling every bow change.
This was one of those afternoons.
Opus & Wine: Czechia in Atlanta brought violinist Miroslav Ambroš and pianist Zuzana Ambrošova into our home — and they left us completely undone. The Sonatine, Bazzini’s Dance of the Goblins, Czech wines by Spevak, chlebíčky, věnečky, and twenty-something people who all felt, by the end, like old friends.
Gratitude to the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Georgia .consulatecz_atlanta and the Czech-Slovak School of Atlanta for making this collaboration possible — and to the incomparable .

Our European Piano Academy of Atlanta is fully booked.

Thank you for the trust—demand has been exceptionally strong. With a small number of weekly openings releasing for August, we’re moving to Priority Access.

How Priority Access works: request access, share your goals and preferred weekly windows, and we’ll personally match you to the next suitable opening as it becomes available.

And a quiet preview of what’s next: in March, we’ll open our Digital Studio Membership—refined, structured insights into the technical foundations that transform playing (tone, ease, control, rhythm, voicing, pedaling). The same European approach we teach in the studio—now available beyond Atlanta.

Last Opus & Wine — Hausmusik Edition at the European Piano Academy of Atlanta was epic.

Best part: guests jumped in and played. We sight-read chamber music by Mendelssohn, Schumann, Schubert, Brahms, and Milhaud—mixing formations, having fun, making real music.

Reibekuchen, great wines, and a Mosel Riesling that stole the show. Thank you all! Can’t wait for the next one.

Thank you, Stetson University , for hosting my concert lecture “Exploring German Romanticism.” I’m especially grateful to Dean Washington Garcia for the invitation. The masterclass and the performance were deeply rewarding — thank you to the students and everyone who attended.

Putting together a possible all-Liszt program for later this year in an iconic hall.

Quick litmus test: does Liszt’s transcription of Isolde’s Liebestod still count as “all-Liszt”… or is that musical cheating? 🤓

Isn’t it fascinating how nature and music intertwine? Whether it’s the rhythmic clatter of an old mill or the gentle flow of a creek, both can evoke powerful musical imagery. Wagner knew this well, often drawing inspiration from the natural world to create timeless works like Rheingold. Nature’s sounds remind us that music is all around us—sometimes you just have to listen.
