Nobody told me belly fat in midlife was a completely different animal.
I spent way too long thinking I just needed to eat less and move more.
But visceral fat β the deep belly fat that wraps around your organs β isn't playing by those rules.
It's inflammatory. It's hormonal. And it's directly connected to how well your liver, lymphatic system, and stress response are functioning.
When I started understanding the root causes instead of chasing the symptom β everything started to make more sense.
