Typical morning around here.

Packaging orders, getting ready for tomorrow's pop-up at Tallulah 1882, and trying to stay on schedule.

My little supervisor is usually the first one awake and the first one in the kitchen making sure I'm doing things correctly.

Yep. That's all it is. Before the events, before the shelves get stocked, before the bars get into someone's hands, it's usually just us in the kitchen putting in the work.

Still working. Still building.

I've been spending some time walking into local stores, introducing myself, and leaving samples for people to try.

This photo came from one of those visits.

It got me thinking...

Mine happened to be a kitchen at 3 AM.

This week was a little chaotic.

We made a lot of GRITBARs, had orders to get out the door, stores to restock, and then realized we were running low on packaging labels.

Not ideal.

A quick call to The Shipping Depot and they jumped in to help. Despite being slammed busy, they were able to turn around a large print order on short notice and keep us moving.

I'll try not to make last-minute requests a habit, but I'm grateful for businesses like this that consistently show up when you need them.

Building a product isn't just about what's happening in our kitchen. It takes suppliers, retailers, customers, and great local businesses working behind the scenes to make it all happen.

Thank you to the team at The Shipping Depot for helping us get orders out and shelves stocked this week.
