The devil threw temptation after temptation at Him, but Jesus didn’t flinch. He didn’t argue, He didn’t entertain the lies—He hit back with scripture every time. He stood firm and let the Word of God do the talking.

Now, let’s be real. If Jesus had to go through a season of testing before walking in His purpose, what makes you think you won’t?

This is why Lent is deeper than just giving something up. It’s a lesson in obedience, discipline, and spiritual strength. It’s about realigning with God, removing distractions, and preparing yourself for what’s ahead. But let’s be clear—when you make a commitment to God, the enemy is going to come for you.
