Growth. Truth. Becoming.🌱

06/13/2026

The most overlooked part of growth isn't the harvest.

It's the version of you that kept showing up when nobody was watching.

The one who planted the seed.
The one who watered the dream.
The one who kept believing when progress felt invisible.

Every book in the Purple Harvest Trilogy represents a season of that journey:

📖 Purple Harvest reminds us to plant goals and grow truths.
📔 Purple Harvest Journal creates space for intentional reflection and growth.
💜 Harvest Your Truths helps us replace limiting beliefs with empowering affirmations.

These little versions of me are a reminder that every chapter, every lesson, every setback, and every win helped build the woman I am today.

The truth is, your future self is cheering for you long before you arrive.

Plant.
Grow.
Harvest.

💜 Purpose.
💜 Power.
💜 Progress.

💜 Still moving with love. And blooming with discernment.

Growth has taught me that kindness and access are not the same thing.

I can love people and still protect my peace.
I can extend grace and still maintain boundaries.
I can wish others well without inviting every energy into my garden.

Discernment isn't hardness.
It's wisdom.

It's learning that every seed doesn't belong in every soil, and every season doesn't require the same access.

The older I get, the more I understand that blooming isn't just about becoming.

It's about knowing what to nurture, what to release, and what to leave where it was planted.

Bloom wisely. 🌱✨

Sometimes your growth will make people uncomfortable because your bloom exposes what they refused to cultivate within themselves.

But shrinking yourself to preserve someone else’s comfort was never the assignment.

Your bloom is not taking anything away from anyone. There is room for all of us to grow.

And the right people won’t resent your evolution… they’ll be inspired by it. 💜

Some blooms fail in one environment and flourish in another.

That doesn’t make the bloom weak. It means the soil mattered.

I’ve learned that growth is deeply connected to what surrounds you: the conversations, the energy, the expectations, the peace, the people.

Some versions of you can only survive. But the right environment allows you to fully bloom.

So stop apologizing for needing spaces that nourish your purpose instead of draining it.

Some blooms require different soil. 💜

Some things grow better away from noise.

Not every part of your journey needs an audience. Not every seed needs validation before it blooms.

There were seasons where I stopped explaining, stopped over-sharing, and stopped looking for approval from people who couldn’t understand what God was growing inside of me anyway.

And honestly? That’s when the real flourishing began.

Peace protects growth. Silence protects vision. Privacy protects purpose.

Bloom privately.
The harvest will speak for itself. 💜

💜 Hello June 💜

I spent so much time growing, I forgot I was blooming.

Sometimes we're so focused on the next goal, the next milestone, or the next breakthrough that we miss the evidence of growth already surrounding us.

Growth isn't always loud.
Sometimes it looks like healing.
Sometimes it looks like boundaries.
Sometimes it looks like choosing yourself.
Sometimes it looks like peace.

As we step into June, may we take a moment to celebrate not only where we're going, but how far we've come.

🌸 New month.
🌸 New opportunities.
🌸 New blessings.

This month, give yourself permission to bloom without apology.

What is something you've grown through that you're finally beginning to appreciate?

💜 Drop one word below that describes what you're cultivating this June.

Protecting my peace cost me access to some people, some spaces, and some versions of myself I thought I needed to hold onto.

But the moment I stopped forcing what drained me… I finally had room to bloom.

Peace will change your environment. Peace will change your circle. Peace will change your harvest.

And sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is stop watering what keeps disturbing your growth.

The bloom followed the boundaries. 💜

Some flowers don’t bloom because life was easy.
They bloom because they survived seasons that should have broken them.

There were winters I never spoke about publicly.
Moments where I questioned myself, my path, my purpose, and even my strength.

But survival has a way of deepening your roots.

So if you’re in a hard season right now, remember this: your environment may feel cold, but growth is still happening beneath the surface.

And when it’s your time to bloom,
nothing you survived will be wasted. 💜

🌱 Some of the deepest growth happens in silence.

Not every transformation announces itself. Some seasons are quiet. Private. Sacred.

Sometimes you’re not stuck. You’re rooting.

And just because people can’t see the progress yet doesn’t mean nothing is happening beneath the surface.

Blooming quietly still counts. 💜

💜 Our Entrepreneur of Impact journey officially came to an end on Friday as we finished 5th in the Semi-Finalist round.

And honestly?

I’m walking away grateful.

Grateful for every vote.
Every share.
Every encouraging message.
Every person who took a moment to believe in me, in Purple Sheep, and in the work we are building together.

This experience reminded me of something important:
Impact cannot always be measured by rankings.

Sometimes impact looks like:
✨ visibility
✨ connection
✨ community
✨ representation
✨ people finally seeing the work you’ve quietly poured your heart into for years

From mentorship and leadership development…
to Purple Harvest…
to Black Women Who Mentor…
to Purple Sheep CPE™…
to creating spaces where people feel seen and empowered…

This journey amplified purpose.

To everyone who supported me along the way: thank you. Truly.

And trust me…
The work is not over.
In many ways, we’re just getting started. 💜
