A colleague has a buyer having trouble getting insurance on the home they are under contract to buy. Without an insurance policy, they cannot get the loan.

Is this the seller’s responsibility? No. The home inspection did not reveal issues and the FHA appraisal noted no problems. That said, it can be their PROBLEM.

Closing could end up being delayed. The buyer may not be able to close.
