It has been said that disbelief spawns disobedience. One way this can be seen today is within the world that is COVID-19. Many don’t believe the virus is as serious and widespread as the media reports, so they disobey the standards of quarantine and social distancing that the CDC and other authorities put forth.
This certainly has relevance in our spiritual lives as well. How often are we asked did God really say that? Then, much like Eve in the Garden, we begin to disobey and seek our own way. Jesus made in clear in Scripture that to question is ok. Questioning is not disbelief. Questioning is growth.
Keep growing, and in these times of uncertainty, be reminded and comforted by, what I believe to be, one of God’s greatest challenges and comforts - “Fear not.”

Daily Reflection | October 17, 2014 8 From now on, brothers and sisters, if anything is excellent and if anything is admirable, focus your thoughts on these things: all that is true, all that is holy, all that is just, all that is pure, all that is lovely, and all that is worthy of praise.
