I’m planning my garden for Spring and experimenting with winter sowing. It may be snowy outside but inside the warmth of my studio Flower Faeries are blooming.

Thoughts of Spring. Wake the flower fairies from their slumber. It’s time they started making plans.

Sorting through some of the paper dolls I’ve instructed over the years and found these seed packet dolls. They were so much fun. They would make a great Spring project.

Putting together a gift for a friend who loves “Miss Bunny” from the Bird & Bee collection, Plate 5. She sends me paper confections of Miss Bunny, along with stories about her exploits. I’m including extra bunny noses with her gift. 🐰 Merry Christmas 🎄 friends.

P.S. The smaller version of Miss Bunny, is a brooch made with white shrink plastic. 🐇

Good Morning friends. After reading all your comments when I posted some pics of my new studio, I realized that I created some confusion. Let me explain. First, the Character Constructiions web site is up. There are 17 collections and the stamps are still available. At the present time I do not plan to expand the catalog. There are lots of reasons, but to put it simply, the manufacturing side is no long friendly to small businesses. I'm trying to see if I can order in smaller amounts when I run out of something. But, I have always carried a large inventory if you need something.

My plans going forward are to create a journal or book to chronicle my journey as a creator. I have a new granddaughter, Charlotte Rose. We share the same middle name, Rose, after my paternal grandmother Rosa, and we share the same initials CRM. Next year I will turn 70 and Charlotte will turn 2. I want her to know me, and if she is creative, I hope I will inspire her to follow her dreams. Actually, I want her to follow her dreams no matter what.

Because Character Constructions will play a role in the story I want to tell, I will post here and also my Character Constructions page and also my blog. Perhaps, I can inspire you to unearth your stamps and start "playing" with them again.

Today, I am working on framing up some of my cross stitch samplers. I have always found stitching empowering -- I made my wedding dress, Adam's baptismal gown, and lots more. And I took up cross stitching in the 80s. I am reframing a few of them after discovering that not using archival materials did some damage to the fabric. Below is a couple of pics of my samplers.

We’ve moved to Middletown, Delaware. My new studio is all set up and I’m loving my new space. More good things to come.
