Hi, I’m Sydney—the face behind Sydema Films (pronounced like cinema, but with Syd). I picked up a camera back in middle school and started shadowing a videography team in high school to really dive into the craft. In 2021, I officially launched my business and later spent an entire summer filming for 8+ hours a day at a camp—editing multiple videos a week. That’s when I knew this is what I love to do.

I specialize in videography and photography, with a heart for capturing weddings—but I’m open to any story you need told. I’m a dog mom to two sweet pit mixes and engaged to the funniest man I know (he keeps me laughing daily). My faith drives everything I do, and I truly believe this path was no accident.

Recently, I had the honor of capturing the sweetest surprise proposal. He waited patiently for her to finish vet school, then planned it all during what she thought was just a graduation shoot with her sister. He even imported the exact ring she’d always dreamed of. One of the most thoughtful, genuine moments I’ve had the chance to witness behind the lens.
