This morning there were multiple burglaries and entering autos that occurred within the city. A large amount of money and merchandise were stolen. Once Forest Park Police was notified we immediately activated the Criminal Investigations Unit and within 6 hours a juvenile suspect was apprehended. The juvenile is known to have committed other crimes in the city and was identified from video footage.
The money and merchandise were recovered!

A congratulations is in order on a job well done! Sergeant Sparks, Officer Bailey, and Officer Thomas saved a 60 year old women’s life from harming herself. She is now safe in good care with the partnership of the Forest Park Fire & Emergency Services. 👮🧑🚒

Our new Gillem Public Safety Building is officially open! Constructed by Hogan Construction Group, LLC, this brand new 15,000-square-foot facility replaces the old Fire Station No. 3 and includes a mini police precinct, conference room, centralized sleeping quarters and equipped exercise room.
