Hey! Did you know tomatoes are native to the Americas. Before the 1500s, Europe had never seen a tomato! They were introduced during the Columbian Exchange when Spanish explorers carried them back across the Atlantic.

For years, many Europeans thought tomatoes were poisonous and grew them only as ornamental plants.

Now you know 😊

We’ll be open tomorrow with fresh tomatoes, eggs, produce, baked treats, meal mixes, and other farm favorites while supplies last.

UPDATE: We have reached our current capacity for the Summer Blessings Food Box Program and registration is now closed.

Hi Friends - When school is out for summer, many children lose access to school lunches and backpack food programs. We believe no child should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from.

Beginning Tuesday, June 2, through Tuesday, July 28, Luttrell Farm is teaming up with S & S Homes Realty LLC to offer free weekly food boxes for local families with school-aged children.

Each box may include a variety of items such as:
🥖 Bread and baked goods
🥚 Fresh eggs (when available)
🍅 Fresh produce
🥣 Breakfast items
🍎 Healthy snacks
🍝 Ingredients for simple family meals
❤️ A few special treats from time to time

Boxes will be available for pickup each Tuesday at the Farm Stand at a designated time.

If your family could benefit from this program, we invite you to sign up. There is no cost and no judgment - just neighbors helping neighbors.

I got in the kitchen today and worked on a new tea blend. It’s bright, refreshing, naturally caffeine-free, made with organic ingredients and just as delicious poured over ice as it is served hot.

🫐 Elderberries

The elderberries give it a rich fruity flavor, while the peppermint and orange peel make it incredibly refreshing for these hot Georgia days.

Each ingredient was chosen to create a smooth, flavorful cup without any artificial flavors or fillers.

Sunrise Farm Tea will be available at the farm stand this weekend while supplies last.

🌿 Pixie Plants Are Coming Saturday! 🌿

These tiny 2-inch houseplants are headed to the farm stand this weekend and they are ADORABLE. 🪴✨

Every little plant is different, making them perfect for:
• desks
• windowsills
• gifts
• terrariums
• plant lovers with “just one more plant” problems 😅

We'll have these available Saturday at the farm stand while supplies last.

Motherhood comes in so many forms quiet sacrifices, long days, sleepless nights, protection, nurturing, and unconditional love. To all the hardworking moms out there, whether your babies have two legs or four, we see you and appreciate you today. ❤️
