Why the New Paine Field Airport Is a Passenger's Dream PAE may be small, but it's a beauty. On our first visit, we were wowed by the new terminal just opened north of Seattle.

Monday, March 4, 2019 marked a historic day for Snohomish County's Paine Field airport with the commencement of commercial service from Propeller Airport's new terminal.

USA Today says "Paine Field (PAE) in Everett, Washington, is the newest dot on the USA’s commercial aviation map" and the New York Times calls it a "sleek, new, $40 million two-gate terminal".

The terminal features a tranquil, lounge-like environment with large fireplaces, exposed wood details, and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Olympic Mountains; valet parking; charging ports at every seat; high speed WiFi; private, individual bathrooms; and locally sourced food, alcohol and coffee.

Propeller Airports brings "civility" back to flying.

How the first day of commercial flights from Paine Field went The first commercial flight from Snohomish County's Paine Field was an Alaska Airlines flight to Portland. The new, two-gate passenger terminal opens up more options for travelers from the Greater Seattle area.
