Ras Ceylon Teams Up With Anthony B For Upliftment On “Check Yourself”

Hip Hop Artist/Educator/Activist Ras Ceylon has been at the forefront promoting a more conscious type of music. Based in Oakland, California, he has given years of service as an emcee, and has set the standard of making quality music. Keeping the focus sharp, he continues his mission with the new single, “Check Yourself”.

Produced by DJ Dixon, “Check Yourself” is the new collaboration between Ras Ceylon, and Reggae/Dancehall Artist Anthony B. Over some Afrotrap sounds, the two trade strong lyrics and melodies as they deliver a great dose of positive upliftment. Ceylon believes “Check Yourself” will not only dominate speakers and playlists around the world, but develop a strong presence in the streets. Sharing years of friendship, this is the first collaboration between Ras Ceylon and Anthony B, and marks as one of Ceylon’s most important ones given their lengthy careers of pushing message music to better their people.

Ras Ceylon has high hopes for “Check Yourself”, and believes it will be one of the singles that will make a difference this summer. He’s gearing up to commence a promotional campaign for the single, and for a number of months, it will build its presence on radio and social media, and will be performed at various events. A music video is said to be in the early stages of development. Ceylon is also working on a follow up to his 2022 album, “To Srv the Ppl”.
