Good Afternoon to all of my current and future Entrepreneurs. When creating goals and strategies, I want you to see it as a basketball game. Your overall goal is to get the ball in the basket and score. You’re all the way on the other side of the court with 10 players standing between you and the basket. Five players are on your side and the other 5 are against you. The ball is in your hands. You must decide how to move and work with your teammates to help you get around the opposing players, get the ball into the basket, and score. That is what setting goals and creating strategies are about in a nutshell. Now let’s see how this applies to your business.

I have gained so much knowledge from building this freelance business. Aside from sharpening my web design and development skills, I learned an unbelievable amount about digital marketing and something I didn't pay much attention to which was writing.

Good afternoon my bright people. I have a quote from one of my former mentors. He said,

"It is best to move forward and stay confused then to stay in one place trying to learn everything and going nowhere."

In other words, when you get ready to start your business, stop focusing so much on how much more info you have to learn before you get started. I used to say let me learn this or that because I want to be prepared. Here's the thing, we are NEVER PREPARED enough for what life throws in our direction. So the best thing to do is get out of your own way, jump in the water and swim. You may just surprise yourself.
