This Is Atlanta House

Housewerk started by sharing the love for house music in the early to mid 2010’s. Otica, one half of Halogen, kicked off Housewerk to spread his love of the genre with the rest of Atlanta. Much like the rest of the U.S., Atlanta was experiencing a surge of electronic dance music at this time, the “EDM Boom.” It would be around this time and in venues, like Music Room, where we’d see a re-emergence of house music with the next generation of ravers and househeads.
