At ECE, not only do we believe in inclusivity for all, we refuse to work with anyone who is racist, sexist, homophobic or otherwise hateful. If there’s one thing 2020 has taught us it’s that life is short and there is no point in being unintentional (personally or professionally) about making this world a better place, for all. We’ve celebrated love, supported likeminded businesses and worked for social justice, since our inception. Our work will continue till all are treated equally. 🤍 Summerour Studio Scoobie West & Company VUE Photo

When I postponed three spring weddings two weeks ago, (including one in Italy), the news of the impact of Coronavirus on our country wasn’t quite so grim. Today, I was slated to board a flight to Italy, for a planning meeting. That clearly didn’t happen and as the harsh reality of this pandemic sets in, I’m reminded of how nothing can be taken for granted. I so look forward to the day that we can once again embrace each other... to break bread together, without the fear of becoming ill. When I think about what this will look like for K & J’s wedding, next year, it warms my heart. Already, a new level of graciousness is evident as in the emails with my colleagues in Europe and the US, which now mention “prayer” and “love”. There are some really beautiful things happening in this righteous mess. 🙏🏼
