📣 Our Community. Our Responsibility.

While the federal government has vowed to fund half of the SNAP benefits for the month of November, it’s still unclear when those funds will actually reach recipients. That means many families right here in our neighborhoods are still wondering where their next meal will come from.

This is where we come in.

At Hope Hub, Inc., we believe it is our sacred duty as believers and as a community to bear one another’s burdens. A crisis for one is a crisis for all. And this is how we show God how deeply we love Him, by how we love and care for one another.

Join us in standing in the gap through the Neighborhood Market Fund, helping ensure no family in the Tri-Cities goes hungry during this uncertain time.

QOTW (Question of the Week):

What Do You Do When You’re Frustrated With the Assignment God Gave You?

You don’t abandon what God authored.
You don’t curse what Heaven commissioned.
You press until purpose breaks open.

Frustration is often the proof that your flesh is wrestling what your spirit already knows to be true, that you’re called to this.

Every assignment comes with an altar. And sometimes, before you see the fruit, you’ve got to die to your feelings. God isn’t punishing you, He’s processing you. He’s stretching your capacity to carry what He’s already declared over your life.

This is not the time to walk away. It’s the time to lock in. The weight you feel is confirmation that Heaven still trusts you with the work.

Stay faithful in the frustration, because favor is forming in the fire.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up… Galatians 6:9”

In times like these… when tension rises, opinions clash, and personal attacks replace productive conversation we need a reminder that purpose must never take the backseat to offense.

There’s a lot being said in our community right now. About politics. About leadership. About each other. But noise has never been the language of Heaven. The louder the chaos becomes, the more intentional you have to be about your peace.

Jesus stood before His accusers; Pilate, Herod, priests, elders and said nothing. Not because He didn’t have the truth, but because He was the truth. He didn’t waste His voice trying to prove His innocence to people whose minds were already made up. He stayed silent to protect His purpose.

And that’s where many of us are right now. You are the truth, and you need only to protect your purpose. Not everything deserves your energy. Not every battle needs your sword. Sometimes your greatest defense is a shut mouth, a settled mind, and a steady position.

Don’t let offense make you abandon your assignment. Don’t let opposition shift your disposition. Your silence doesn’t mean you’re weak, it means you’re wise. And sometimes that’s your greatest strength.

So the question then becomes… DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

When you know who you are and whose you are, you don’t have to respond to everything that’s said about you. You just have to keep building. Because while others are arguing in circles, God is still writing straight lines. He’s not finished with this city. He’s not finished with us.

Stay focused. Stay faithful. Stay in your lane. Destiny is still ahead.

🚨 🚨 Our Community. Our Responsibility.

As people of faith, we know loving our neighbor isn’t optional… it’s the heartbeat of the Gospel.

Right now, our community is being tested. Over 1.3 million Georgians may soon lose access to SNAP if the government shutdown continues; that’s 1 in 8 people, including families right here in the Tri-Cities.

In College Park, East Point, and Hapeville, families already live in food deserts. Prices are rising. Nonprofits are stretched thin. And many will soon wake up with empty EBT cards, unsure how to feed their children.

But this isn’t just about food, it’s about survival. Without SNAP and WIC, countless mothers won’t be able to buy formula, diapers, or essentials for their babies. These aren’t luxuries, they’re lifelines.

That’s why Hope Hub, Inc. is launching the Neighborhood Market Fund, a faith-led, community-rooted initiative to fill the gap when systems fail.

🎯 Goal: Feed and supply at least five families every week until lasting solutions are restored.
❤️ Mission: Build a movement of compassion that lasts beyond the headlines.

Here’s how you can help:
🤏🏾 Give – Every dollar becomes groceries, formula, and essentials.
🤏🏾 Volunteer – Be the hands and heart of hope.
🤏🏾 Donate Supplies – Diapers, wipes, hygiene products are urgently needed.
🤏🏾 Share – Spread the word. Be a voice for the voiceless.

Every election season, the noise gets louder… campaign signs, soundbites, and promises. But somewhere beneath all that noise is what really matters: the people.

Hope Hub was built on one simple belief; that when people show up for one another, communities change. That same principle applies to leadership. We don’t just need representatives who speak for us; we need those who stand with us.

Before you vote, look beyond the slogans. Ask the deeper questions: Who’s been present when the lights weren’t on? Who’s been working, serving, and building when there was nothing to gain?

Leadership isn’t about position… it’s about presence, accountability, and compassion in action. The future of our city depends on those who carry those values, not just campaign promises.

🗳️ Here are 10 non-negotiables to consider as you head to the polls.

This election, let’s vote with vision. Let’s choose leaders who reflect the hope, integrity, and resilience we want our communities to embody.

📣 A Call to Stand in the Gap for our Neighbors & Families

As followers of Christ, we are called to “love our neighbor as ourselves” (Mark 12:31) and to serve “the least of these” (Matthew 25:40). Right now, our community is facing a severe crisis of provision & justice and we at Hope Hub, Inc. are stepping in.

Beginning November 1, more than 1.3 million Georgians will lose access to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) unless the shutdown is resolved; that’s roughly 1 in 8 Georgians. In Atlanta alone, about 14.9% of residents live with food insecurity. Families in our area, including in College Park, are already living in food deserts, facing rising grocery costs, and relying on nonprofits whose capacity has been cut. The shutdown means that thousands will wake up with empty EBT cards, unsure where their next meal will come from.

This is where Hope Hub steps into the breach. We are launching the Neighborhood Market Fund; a faith-led, community-rooted response to feed families here in the Tri-Cities area (East Point, College Park, Hapeville).

Our first goal: feed at least five needy families per week until long-term policy solutions are enacted. And because hunger doesn’t pause when the crisis ends, we are making this an ongoing fund so our elders and children do not go hungry.

Here’s how you can join us:

🙏 Give financially… your gift directly translates into grocery support.
🛒 Volunteer… help us serve, build relationships, and share hope.
📣 Share this message. Amplify the call, mobilize your network, and become a voice for the voiceless.

Every struggle, every triumph, every season; it all has meaning. You are not random, forgotten, or overlooked… you are an answered prayer. Somebody prayed for your life to exist, your purpose to unfold, and your light to shine right where you are.

Walk like you matter, because you do.

10/29/2025

Before you get discouraged by the frustration that may come with the assignment, remember, you’re an answered prayer. Adversity doesn’t minimize the need, you’re right where you’re supposed to be…

- Me

10/28/2025

I pray God arrest the conscience of every elected official in this hour that perpetuates systemic oppression under the guise of policy, procedure, progress, or self-aggrandizement… those who use public office as a mirror instead of a window, who crave applause more than accountability, and who treat service as a stage rather than a stewardship.

I pray the Spirit of Truth interrupt every self-serving agenda and dismantle every structure built to glorify man instead of God. May the cries of the voiceless echo louder than the praise of the powerful until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.

I pray your rest be turbulent until repentance be your form.

Amen.

When I came to this city, I introduced myself as a Hopeless Changemantic; someone who still believes in the power of change when others no longer do. It wasn’t just a phrase to sound different; it was and still is a declaration of who I am and why I’m here.

I believe this city can heal. I believe systems can be redeemed. I believe hearts can turn, and hope can rise again from the same ground despair has in a chokehold. That’s what happens when faith collides with vision, when God breathes on what others have already buried.

For anyone doubting what God can do in this city or in your own life… change isn’t a fantasy, it’s a faith move. And I’m standing here, hopelessly committed to believing that transformation isn’t just possible… it’s promised.

Because once God sets His heart on a city, no power, no politics, and no person can stop what He’s about to rebuild.
