this new year kicked off with plenty of organizing projects, along with a birthday, our first commercial design install, astrology workshop, and lots of hibernating with the pup.

looking forward to feb: dialing back into activism, using this 🔥🐴 energy (iykyk) push us into a year of big projects and new adventures, while attempting to stay present and grounded through it all.

Helloooooo hi how are ya? It’s been a minute!

Raise your hand if the weight of the world just gets to be a little too much…and you have to pare down to the bare bones of your life so you can continue to provide excellent service to your clients…and be a good friend and wife…and focus on your health…so you take a break from posting on IG…and then one month becomes five👋 …oops?

But I am (somewhat) back and ready to share what I’ve been up to this summer—which has been a lot!

Swipe to see how I helped Allie + Tyler envision their kitchen remodel project. The first task was to help them identify their style: refined rustic. Their beautiful waterfront home is filled with natural wood beams, so a rustic style was a no brainer. But, the key here is the refinement, blending British influences to balance the rustic elements.

For this project, I created a virtual design plan for the kitchen — giving them a color palette and some ideas for finishes. Plus, we discussed changes to the layout, so I created an updated floor plan to help them visualize the new space.

Did you know that Patchwork is also on ? I’ve been a longtime pinner—now more than ever. I use it to gather inspiration images for client projects, organize product links, and curate my own moodboards. Without further ado, I present to you my 2025 moodboard where the theme is PLAY! Some goals for this year: build more time in my routine for creative playtime, take more risks with what I create, and generally just loosen up in my creative process! And more travel! And being able to start hosting again when my kitchen and dining room are finally done! And more dancing!

December got away from me a bit, so here’s a little recap:

Whew! Anyone else feeling it’s been a sprint to the end of the year?! We’ll be taking a breather and spending the holiday being cozy in a cabin in Door County ☃️🌲
