Southern Not Stupid...it's an attitude! Since the birth of our nation, the North has been dumping on the South. Enough is enough! It's an attitude!
As the country grew, so did the stereotype of the "Stupid Southerner".
Eventually Hollywood took over and pretty much sealed the deal by producing things like The Beverly Hillbillies, Dukes of Hazzard, and ... DELIVERANCE! So what is Southern Not Stupid all about? Well it is more than just a response to an undeserved stereotype.
