I woke up this morning at 5:30am to go fly. Not a morning girl, but this is literally the only thing I wanna do in life, so we’re up. Threw on a warm hoodie w/ Psalm 46:5 on the back and some tacky socks w/ dollar signs all over em, and ran out the door.🏃🏾‍♀️💨
Prayed my way to the airport like normal & hopped out to perfect flying weather. Winds calm, no clouds. Had a great flight and decided to celebrate at my favorite breakfast spot afterward. Before I could even order, my flight school had sent me a chunky invoice bigger than my back. Appetite gone! 😩🥴 Still, God said “Girl, don’t worry. I got the rest of this. Eat!”…..So I did.😋🍴
Went to vote after that, and as soon as I pulled back up in my driveway at home, the phone pinged again….My Sisters of the Skies had gifted me a scholarship! 😭🙌🏾 Next several invoices covered. That’s God. Now I can change these tacky socks.😝🧦

The literal ups & downs get kinda crazy in this flying thing, but I’ve learned to appreciate every “aha” moment, every long pause in training, every crappy landing, every tear of frustration and joy shed on my way to each goal.🙏🏾
